Located just 10 minutes from the center of Coyhaique, the region’s capital, Calafate Apart Hotel is immersed in a natural setting surrounded with native trees and gardens, and fantastic views. We overlook Coyhaique and enjoy spectacular 360° views of the mountains, including the granite walls of Mackay and the peaks of the Divisadero range.
Our Facilities
Calafate Apart Hotel is a beautiful property with the feeling of a family home. You’ll find comfortable living areas and four spacious suites, dispersed amongst our three intimate levels. Each suite includes a private bath, independent heating, satellite TV and Wi-Fi.
Our comfortable inn offers the perfect setting for relaxing, unwinding and preparing between explorations of the city and its surrounding nature. If you need inspiration, don’t hesitate to ask for tips or suggestions. We’re happy to help with planning and organization of a range of activities, including rafting, fly-fishing, mountain biking, trekking, Andean Condor viewing and horseback riding, among others.

Activities
With a few days notice, we can put our extensive knowledge and network to work for you, arranging a variety of activities with the best local guides. Choose from fly-fishing, rafting, kayaking, trekking, mountain biking, condor observation, horseback riding, and much more.
All these activities must be scheduled a couple of days in advance in order to confirm availability.
The weather changes constantly in Patagonia and Coyhaique is no exception. It’s important to be prepared for all kinds of weather, including intense sun, wind, rain, and even snow. We suggest you pack a system of clothing layers that allows you to perfectly adapt to the changing conditions.

How to get to Calafate Apart Hotel?
Leaving the city center, take the bypass to the south on the way to Lago Atravesado, mate roundabout, cross the Mondaca Bridge and you find the route to Lago Atravesado X-608. Continue along the gravel road, on the left side you will find the airfield landing strip and at the end of it is the Loteo Don Marcelino, where Calafate Apart Hotel is located.
